Military Appreciation Night

Springfield Raceway will host its annual "Military Appreciation Night" on the 12th of May, pits/gates will open at 3:30, the grandstands will open at 5:00. Hotlaps start at 6:00, and racing begins at 6:30! As a tribute to the Armed Services and their sacrifices, the Raceway is proud to offer FREE ADMISSION to current Active Duty Servicemembers and Veterans (I.D. required, of course). The Heartland Canines for Veterans Team will have a booth on-site; we'll be selling T-Shirts, 50/50 tickets and Raffle tickets for a handmade Afghan (crocheted by a local Lady Veteran). We'll have a couple of our Service Dog trainees there as well, and as always, there will be several members of the Heartland team available to answer questions about the organization and our mission.
