November means it is Busch Light Turkey Bowl XVII time at the Springfield Raceway. Busch Light Turkey Bowl XVIl presented by Home Pro Pools will be labeled the Larry Phillips Memorial honoring the late local legendary Stock Car Driver from right here in Springfield Missouri. The Turkey Bowl event should be on every Race Fans calendar for Thursday November 16 , Friday November 17 & Saturday November 18 .Over $68,575 in prize money will be up for grabs as Drivers travel from all across the country to win some cash & go TURKEY HUNTING to take the prized one of a kind Turkey Trophy home. Legendary Nascar Star Kenny Schrader says,” These days Trophies are hard to win & My Turkey Bowl XIII trophy that I won in 2010 means alot to him & it hangs from the ceiling in my race shop located in St. Louis Missouri.

Turkey Bowl has become a must go to event for Race Fans & Drivers.Great Racing, A Great Payout , A Great Trophy , A Great Happy Gilmore check, A bottle of Wild Turkey, Huntin a nice trophy girl & a chance to celebrate your Larry Phillips Memorial Busch Light Turkey Bowl XVIl Main Event WIN in shooting a firework off in Watson Metal Masters Victory Lane one last time closing out the 2023 Racing Season with a BANG .Turkey Bowl is a great time to get your last race track burger as you enjoy comradery & watch great racing with racing friends one last time at the dirt track in 2023.Turkey Bowl has grew from a one day event having 89 cars in a 1 day event November 24 , 2007 to a 2 day event with 335 cars signed in 2021.2022 weather got us postponing a portion of the event to early 2023 with Bobby Pierce taking home the Late Model $10,075 Main Event Win.

A MODS - USRA IMCA UMP WISSOTA type MODIFIEDS top the card with a 50 lap Turkey Bowl XVII Main Event Paying $7575 to Win .

Springfield Raceway has a Westhold Timing & Scoring System.The top 10 in the running order will be displayed on the O’reilly timing & scoring located in turn 2. Drivers if you have a Westhold Transponder you need to bring it. If you do not have a transponder you can rent one at the track for $15.
