Turkey Bowl Countdown: #5
The 5th Turkey Classic at the Springfield Raceway was set to run on November 26, 2011. However, the weather won, and the race was pushed to March 10, 2012
This would be the first time that someone who had already previously won the event in a Modified car. This also starts the time that someone wins two Turkey events twice in one year, not by one person but two People.
The 5th event winners are Terry Phillips Racing in the Modified. This makes the second time that Terry has won the Turkey Trophy in a Modified car, as he also won in the 2nd Annual race. This would also not be the last time either.
Kris Jackson Racing in the Out-Pace USRA - United States Racing Association B-Mods.This would make Kris's first win of a Turkey Event.
Jack Sullivan took it for the Modified.
Mike Hailmann would take the win in the Legends Class.
